The largest Scandinavian hotel operator Scandic Hotels AS terminates its activities in Estonia after 14 years of work. This message was published in Estonian business newspaper Äripäev.
In the eand of the 2012th Scandic ehead of time inturrupted its activities in Pyarnu hotel that located on the seaside. But a few days ago the hotel operator concluded an agreement on sellinf of Tallinn hotel Scandic Palace. Therefore, Scandic Hotels AS fully finishes its work in Estonia.
The Scandinavian operator sold the hotel to the company Eften SPV 11 OÜ. But the deal is valid when it will be approved by the competition department.
According to Executive Head of Scandic Anders Erling, the main aim of Scandic is hotel management rather than tenancy.
